March 2023 — With the reorganization of the projects due to some significant site work challenges with increased costs with the high school project (see more here), the timelines are nearly the same, with the Ste. Genevieve Elementary timeline moving backward a few months into the fall semester of 2023 due to the focus on the Early Childhood Center plans. All timelines are all contingent on updated costs, the availability of materials, and unexpected processes that may arise. We will share an updated timeline as soon as it is available.

Preliminary Design of SGE's Project is Shared
January 2023 — The preliminary design of Ste. Genevieve Elementary’s new gym and on-grade, ADA-accessible entrance can be seen below. This project will take some parking spaces, but there are areas that have been identified as able to provide potential new parking (also below). The district will discuss parking possibilities with the civil engineers moving forward.
Areas of Focus — Ste. Genevieve Elementary
ADA: Construct/reconfigure an ADA-compliant entryway to make the front entrance of the building accessible.
Entry & Offices:
Reconfigure front office space to include office and meeting room space.
Construct a large common space for student and multi-purpose use.
Gym: (FORMER ALTERNATE)
Construct a new elementary gymnasium (the full student body cannot fit inside of the current gym, and due to the direction of the current gym's beams, it is not feasible to extend the current gymnasium).
Already Completed: HVAC: Install updated heating and cooling systems, especially in the older part of the building.
