Facilities Long-Range Planning

At Ste. Genevieve County R-II, we are excited to offer our students diverse educational opportunities as we strive to prepare them for their futures. When they leave our halls and head out into the world, we hope to have provided them a strong foundation to make positive, meaningful impacts. Ensuring that our facilities provide safe, quality learning environments for all of our students is paramount to our work as educators.

The district launched a Facilities Committee to analyze the condition, needs, capacity and utilization of the district's existing physical spaces. The committee developed this master long-range facilities plan to help guide prioritization for potential renovation, expansion, or re-purposing of spaces, including analysis of areas of focus.

More than 100 committee members participated, including Board members, administrators, faculty and staff, families and students, and community members. This group researched and identified immediate priorities, as well as 5-, 10-, and 15-year priorities. The immediate priorities are the areas of focus we hope to address through Prop SG.
